North Idaho Health Network is partnering with MEDPro LLC to offer a Prescription Assistance Program. The program provides free or lost cost prescriptions to people who are uninsured or underinsured and meet certain income guidelines.

Right Steps Activity Challenge: Walk to Win
COEUR D’ALENE, IDAHO (June 29th, 2009) – On Wednesday July 1, 2009 the Right Steps Activity Challenge kicked off. Right Steps is a Healthy Directions activity challenge, designed to inspire and motivate members of the community to live a more active lifestyle.
Race to Lose: Weight Loss Challenge
North Idaho Health Network would like to congratulate the 224 Kootenai Health employees who participated in this years Race to Lose: Weight Loss Challenge. They lost a combined weight of 1,066.5 pounds! Race to Lose participants competed as individuals and in teams to see who could drop the most weight during the competition. All participants received a “Guide to Healthy Eating,” to help them in their quest for a healthy lifestyle.
The second in the Mudgy & Millie family walking series is Saturday, April 18
COEUR D’ALENE, IDAHO (April 3, 2009) – North Idaho Health Network (NIHN) and Helbling Employee Benefits are working together to promote a healthier community by presenting the second Mudgy & Millie Family Walk series event on Saturday, April 18, 2009. Starting at the base of Tubbs Hill, the 2.4 mile walk takes participants through beautiful downtown Coeur d’Alene and past the statues of Mudgy and Millie located at different locations in the business district. The first walk held on March 21, drew more than 40 participants.

COEUR D’ALENE, IDAHO (March 10, 2009) –The North Idaho Health Network (NIHN) and Kootenai Medical Center (KMC) have been recognized by Wellness Councils of America (WELCOA) as one of the nation’s healthiest companies. KMC received a “Gold” Well Workplace Award, just 1.2 points below the Platinum level, the organization’s highest recognition.
