Free and Low Cost Prescriptions

North Idaho Health Network is partnering with MEDPro LLC to offer a Prescription Assistance Program.  The program provides free or lost cost prescriptions to people who are uninsured or underinsured and meet certain income guidelines.

Uninsured or underinsured patients often find themselves having to choose between medications and other necessities of life. But no one should have to choose.  To help prevent this from happening physicians and medical clinics spend an average of 191 hours per-month assisting patients in finding free or low cost prescriptions, a service that is not reimbursable to the provider.

“MEDPrc will be a tremendous asset to physicians in getting help for patients who cannot afford necessary and important treatment options,” said Dr. Mike Dixon, North Idaho Health Network Medical Director.

The Prescription Assistance Program offered through North Idaho Health Network and MEDPro LLC is designed to help patients throughout the community.  The program also allows physicians and medical staff to reallocate their time, putting their focuses back on the patient, by relieving them from the time consuming task of applying for medication that stabilize their patient’s health condition.

As a nationally recognized company, the MedPro LLC professionals have a comprehensive understating and database of Pharmaceutical Company Prescription Assistance Programs.  This allows them to provide efficient service and a streamlined application process.
