Free exercise and nutrition seminar presented by North Idaho Health Network

COEUR D’ALENE, IDAHO (January 7, 2009) – American’s spend millions of dollars on weight-loss and exercise programs yet few reach their weight and fitness goals. However, next to not smoking, getting regular physical activity and eating properly are arguably the best things you can do for your health. It lowers the risk of heart disease, diabetes, stroke, high blood pressure, osteoporosis, and certain cancers. Plus, they help keep weight in check and control stress. Raise your hand if you were able to stay on your exercise regime or control your diet over the holidays. You are not alone. Get back on track, or start the New Year in the right direction by attending a free exercise and nutrition seminar designed for all people.

The North Idaho Health Network is providing this free exercise and nutrition seminar. The seminar will include time for questions and provide local, community resource information.

The program will be held on Thursday, February 5 at the AmeriTel Inn in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho south of I-90 on highway 95. Certified diabetes educator, Kirsten Collins, RD, CDE, will present. The J.R. Simplot Company is co-sponsoring the seminar.
