A Vision For the Future of Healthcare in North Idaho

NIHN’s vision is to create the tools and resources necessary to unite member physicians and hospitals in an interdependent system to improve the quality and cost efficiency of care through local direction and collective negotiations with payers.

Over the past 17 years North Idaho Health Network has continued to evolve to better address current healthcare needs. North Idaho Health Network is at the hub of a truly dynamic and engaging transformation and has entered into an engagement with The Camden Group to set our vision for the future.   

During the next three months The Camden Group will be assessing the Network’s readiness and strategies to move forward in a manner to better support the medical community in response to the ever growing list of government mandates and rapidly changing healthcare industry.

The future of healthcare in north Idaho lies in the hands of the medical community. 

A Steering Committee and four work groups will be formed:

• Governance,
• Network and Contracting,
• Clinical Care Model,
• and IT Infrastructure. 

Now is the time to take a more active role and help determine the way healthcare is designed, delivered, and experienced locally.
